Fee Policy
The Bishops of Western Australia have approved the collection of school fees from parents as a necessary contribution to the costs of delivering a Catholic education. Although Catholic schools receive government assistance, fees constitute an essential proportion of the school income.
Leschenault Catholic Primary School is committed to providing an affordable, quality Catholic education for our students. The School aims to keep fees to a minimum so that parents will be encouraged to enrol their children without undue hardship. The inability to pay school fees shall never be the reason for the non-enrolment or exclusion of any child from Leschenault Catholic Primary School. Confidential discussions can be made with the Principal if families are experiencing financial difficulties.
Fee Concessions
Parents/Carers who hold a means tested family Health Care Card or a Pensioner Concession Card are eligible to apply for the Health Care Card Tuition Fee Discount Scheme. To be valid, the Concession Card must be current at all times. The discounted fee covers Tuition Fees, Building Levy, Technology Levy and Amenities Fee. Other fees and charges are not discounted. Application Forms are available from the office. To continue receiving the HCC Discount, the school must be provided a copy of your current, valid Card at all times.
Fee Process
Each year Parents/Carers are required to complete a Payment Option Form. The school offers a Payment Plan for fee payment using the following options:
- Full Total Payment
- Quarterly Payments
- Monthly Payments
- Fortnightly Payments
- Weekly Payments
Payments can be made over the counter with cash or by EFTPOS. Online payments can also be made via BPAY, Credit Card and Direct Debit deductions. Online payments are nominated on the Payment Options Form, sent out with the School Fee Statement at the start of each school year.
